Video Publication with Screencastomatic and Youtube

Screencastomatic is an excellent resource for creating video tutorials: it’s straightforward, easy to use and produces great results.

I created a brief online tutorial on how to locate and use Google images. Having uploaded it to my Youtube account, I then edited it, i.e. added narration, background music, tags and a description.
Despite having no prior experience in such a task, I found the process surprisingly easy!


As a primary school teacher, my new learning has come at the most opportune time given the current crisis, and I feel much more equipped to take on remote teaching now that I am familiar with the Screencastomatic resource.

Making video tutorials for my pupils will certainly be worthwhile, as watching visual instructions is so much easier than reading written instructions.
