I have created this LinkedIn profile to outline my education, experience and skills to potential future employers in a way that is accessible and coherent. I clearly outline at the forefront of my profile that I am a qualified primary school teacher, with experience in both mainstream and special education settings, and that my undergraduate background in Modern Irish & World Religions and Theology continues to shape my interests and further education. I detail my educational experience, including my various academic achievements, and summarise my undertakings during my current degree, MA: Scríobh agus Cumarsáid na Gaeilge. Employers will see that I am committed to extensive continuous professional development in the primary education sector, that I have initiated various projects (many of which involving ICT) within my school setting and experienced success therein, and that I have a distinct enthusiasm for the Irish language, particularly in relation to translation work and sociology of language. My primary skills are listed as education, teaching, Irish, translation, research and Religious Education. I intend to develop my profile as I complete my Master’s degree and seek to establish further experience in the field of translation work.
